Following Fermentation & Maturation cellars CSS was given the opportunity to submit a proposal to complete the Prospecton Light-year project to replace Monitrol SCADA complete.
CSS was again selected to complete the work starting with the Utilities which included the CO2 Plant, Refrigeration, Air Control, Steam Control, and Water treatment. The latter divided in to Main, Pasteurized, Hot & Cold Liqueur and waste water.
This phase of the project did not require Batch programming and only required PLC and Archestra development with InTouch as the graphical interface. The PLC software rewrite for the Utilities portion was across 6 PLC's and to complete the graphics in packaging data was extracted out of 68 PLC's. The total gragicla pages developed for the phase was in excess of 93 pages.
The emphasis was as before on completing a rigorous and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) prior to commissioning. This includes systematic negative testing as well. This resulted in smooth commissioning and minimum downtime.
