With the tremendous growth in residential areas experienced over the past few years, Ethekweni Water and Waste Water recognized the need for further development of their waste water services in Verulam. The control system for the Huber Davies sludge press machines were earmarked for upgrading.
The project scope was to rewrite and commission new software using a TSX Modicon Quantum PLC and a Magelis HMI and was awarded to CSS.
CSS were required to lease with the appointed panel builder and installation contractor to coordinate the commissioning successfully.
