This project entails a solution, which includes the design, engineering, supply and commissioning of a TSX Momentum PLC and JSENT SCADA System, to monitor and control the Coedmore Quarry. The project was implemented in the various phases thus the system had to be fully expandable. Starting with the main quarry the control was transferred from the old Telemecanique rack mount PLC's to the new control system.
First new software standards were developed based on the IEC1131 function block diagrams, where after the software was rolled out and commissioned during the annual December shutdown.
Following the completion of the main plant the stonewash plant, the crush-run plant, primary crushers, ready-mix plant and the concrete recycling plant were completed, utilizing the same standards and control system.
