CSS Sponsors Playground to Seed Of Hope [2008/09]
Seed of hope is a joint Canadian and South African no profit organization has been servicing the Bhekulwandle community near Amanzimtoti since 2004. They specialize in providing after school care, community education, AIDS testing and counseling as well as care for terminally patients.
We at CSS started our involvement in April 2008 when we committed to building a new playground facility for the after school centre. Currently we are in the process of building new toilet facilities to accommodate the volume of children at the aftercare centre.
CSS Awarded BHP Billiton Hillside Aluminium Complete SCADA replacement Project
During February 2007 CSS was awarded the SCADA replacement project at Hillside Aluminium. The scope of work was to develop new SCADA software standards and to replace the old legacy VXL Applications with Wonderware InTouch

During the 2nd Quarter of 2007 various magazines including the MMS Magazine, Manufacturing Hub and the SA Measurement and Control Magazine ran the press release article published by Wonderware South Africa on the successful application at Toyota for the new paint plant 3 utilities reporting and control system CSS completed earlier the year.

Wonderware X-Change 2007
During the same function CSS won the award for best Application in the Production Management Category for their project completed at Toyota SA Motors in Prospecton.

During the X-Change 2007 Wonderware conference CSS was awarded a trophy for being the second biggest System Integrator in Southern Africa.

Wonderware Archestra Certification 2005
CSS are proud to announce that they have received their full Acrhestra Certification from Wonderware. The guys have not only fulfilled the requirement but exceeded it. In addition to this we have now completed four successful Acrhestra Implementations of which the SABMiller Prospecton, still the biggest in South Africa.

SABMiller supplier awards 2004
During the 30th anniversary of the breweries breakfast which is held annually by SABMiller Prospecton in honour of the suppliers giving them good service throughout the year, CSS was presented with a Merit Award, "In recognition of excellent service and outstanding contribution to Prospecton Brewery".
CSS Awarded SABMiller Prospecton Brewery New Batch implementation Project
During 2003 CSS was awarded the Batching Implementation project at SABMiller Prospecton. The scope of work was to do a complete PLC software rewrite in conjunction with implementing a new S88 batch engine with Archestra as the supervisory system. The project started with the raw materials intakes, included all the brewhouses, fermentation and maturation cellars and concluded with the brewing utilities.
Schneider Electric System Integrator awards 2003
CSS was awarded the best System Integrator Award for the Kwa-Zulu Natal region. During the same ceremony Pieter Venter received the "Winger of the year award" for this continual pursuit of service excellence and him pushing his suppliers to exceed delivery expectations. Our existing customers were most pleased about this award as they know their interest is being put first.
